Big contrast from the original, perhaps. Many Cessna 190s and 195s were originally delivered in bare aluminum with top cowling factory painted and lateral striping in choice of maroon, blue, yellow or green. Full paint adds weight and lowers useful load, rate of climb and range. There is always a price to pay.

I like the traditional paint better... but that N4408C really would stand out in an airshow.

I don't know... sometimes it is nice to see a change from the norm...

At least it isn't 1970s Orange and Lime.... :)

That's what's cool about the yellow one I saw..it has the stock look with the normal painted area being aluminum and the normal white areas painted..

Interesting variation on a theme.

And I know the aircraft just screams... "HELLO LOOK AT ME". :

It was still different. Even if this one "could cause" seizures... :

Really all those old Cessnas are outstanding. They all look great even when we have too much Coffee...
