Linking my images to another forum

Dear Admins or dear Ken,
Since the migration to the new site, I cannot link my images on airport-data.com to another forum (https://www.aviationforum.at/), because previously I used the adress of the small preview image and set up the link in the background for the full size image. For some reason that does not work any longer, as the instruction to stick to the preview image is missing. How can I master this or is there an issue with airport-data.com, which now simply lacks the functionality? Looking forward to Your profound reply,

It seems aviationforum.at is member-only, I can't see anything before registering.

Can you inserting the thumbnail into post? If yes, then what kind of link you want to use? The photo itself? Or the photo page on our site?

This does not work any longer with images posted since the recent update of airport-data.com.

Hi Chris,

Both links seem to work fine. One note:

for the photo page, (https://airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/001931031.html in your example), the new site does not use '.html' anymore, now link is https://airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/001931031. But any old link with ".html" will be redirected to the correct url, so this should not be the cause.

After you insert the link, do you see thumbnail? if yes, click the link bring you to which page? could you share a screenshoot?

Dear Ken!
When I use the interface on aviationforum.at, copy the thumbnail URL, put that in IMG links, and post that as Link-Text into the full image URL, this is the result:
[url=https://airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/001944251][img]https://airport-data.com/images/aircraft/thumbnails/001/944/001944251.jpg[/img][/url]
And immediately the full size image is posted into that forum, which is too large for the valid size limit, and therefore rejected by the forum software (image too large). This used to work brilliantly before the migration and does not by now.

Hi Chris,

Got it. Seems a bug was introduced in May which cause all thumbnails not shrinked,. The bug start from photo 1935041, that's why your first example didn't reveal the issue.

I am fixing it right now, you should get correct thumbnail size when you see this post.
