There will be vendors, food, aircraft, fly-bys, WWII reenactors, WWII pilots, Corporate pilots, a bake sale and much, much more.

Nice work, Paul. Perhaps in time we might have an annual aviation event schedule for every state in the United States. Alaska has an aviation event annually that draws 19,000 pilots or so.

DENVER -- Denver International and Front Range airports have canceled the previously scheduled air show, which included performances by the U.S. Navyâ€™s Blue Angels aerobatic flight team and other air show performers.

The air show was to take place this summer at Front Range Airport as part of the facilityâ€™s 25th anniversary.

Airport officials said they made the decision to cancel the performance after determining the negative impact on commercial air traffic to and from adjacent Denver International Airport was no longer acceptable.

"It was determined that the resulting flight delays and cancellations would cost DIAâ€™s airlines hundreds of thousands of dollars, and adversely impact tens of thousands of passengers," said Kim Day, the manager at Denver Interntional Airport. "We have looked at a number of alternatives in an effort to find a way to make this happen, but the impact is far too immense at this time."

How about Centennial? 10K ft runway, should do just fine right? Or Buckley?

Centennial (APA) would be great, but it is trying to present a Biz-Jet type of image, so they don't do airshows.

Plus, we have a lot of houses around that area the complain about the noise.

Buckley would be nice.

We do have a great show starting up at Broomfield.

It is a shame that the airspace issue could not be worked out prior to making the plans with the Blue Angels.

The Denver Broncos strive to provide quality game entertainment at every contest the team plays at INVESCO Field at Mile High.

The pregame events, presentation of the colors, national anthem and halftime shows all work to compliment the exciting action on the field.

The 2009 season is just around the corner, and the team's regular season home opener comes in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.

Prior to that, the team will host two preseason games against the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, August 30, and Thursday, September 3, respectively.
