Linking registrations

I've just uploaded photo's of Cessna 510 G-FBKB which was re-gistered six days ago and linked it with it's old registration N826CM but instead of just adding a link to the profile it's added another profile why is this and how can i avoid it in future :?

Me thinks part of the problem, with the two generated profiles, may be that there are two airframe IDs and each one lists the aircraft type slightly different;

for the same bird C/N 510-0126:

G-FKBK linking data:

Airframe ID: 641861

Aircraft Model: 2008 CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY CESSNA 510

C/N 510-0126

N826CM linking data:

Airframe ID: 313082

Aircraft Model: 2008 Cessna 510

C/N 510-0126

The database may be interpetting this as two entirely different frames?

John got it right. The manufacturer names are different. I tried to fix it automatically with program, seems it doen't work very well.

Hi Ken

Just looked at linking another a/c with two reg. the make and model are presented differently so will have to check this when trying to link aircraft in the future.
