can anyone plz tell me where and how do i upload my photos onto this website plz
Hi Andy,
Welcome to Airport-Data.com.
To upload your photos, you need to log into the site. You can login from the forum section, using your username ("andy baker" in your case) and password. You may also visit the "Member Section" and login using your email and the same password as forum section. This is a little confusing, and the different login type is for backward compatibility (we first built member section and added forum section later). Once you logged in, you can visit both sections without relogin. So I recommend you always use one type (either forum or member section) to log in.
After login, go to "Member Section", you will see the main page for member seciton. On the page you will find some recent improvements and instructions. You should also visit "Help" & "News Archive" page (by the links at left side) to get some idea about how the system works.
Now click on "New Aircraft Photo" to start uploading aircraft pictures. Click "Browse" button to find your picture (on your computer like hard drive, cd-rom, etc), fill in the rest of the form, check "I have read and accept the terms above" and click "Submit" to upload the picture.
You can find all your uploaded aircraft pictures on "Aircraft Photos" page. From there you can manage the information of a picture (but not the picture itself).
By default, all photos are simply listed one-by-one on the site. After you upload some pictures, you may want to organize them in a layered folders structure. To do this, visit "Customize Photo Gallery" to create your structure. You can create your own structure, either by airport the picture taken, or by aircraft type (such as classic, warbirds, etc), or anything you see fit.
If you haven't activated "Customize Photo Gallery" feature yet, you will be asked if you want to activated now. Simply click "Yes" and you are ready to create folders. There's a detailed instruction on "Help" page. You can come back and modify the structure at any time.
There're a few options on "Account Info" page under "Options", most options also have examples so you can find out what does an option means.
If you have any other question, please feel free to ask.
Ken
