Sukhoi Identification

I would like to publish the image below on this site but have been unable to positively identify it.

The aircraft carries no registration identity but it is thought to be

Su-26MX Reg N7SU cn 51-04

This info is listed in the FAA registry but how can I be certain that this is indeed the same aircraft?

Is anyone able to confirm this please? The photo was taken at the Farnborough Air Show in 1990 but the airframe is not included in any internet listing for this event.

You could try to contact the guy who took this photo.

Perhaps he may have an ID. It looks like he was there.

how about:

SUKHOI 26MX cn: 51-04 cccp-5104 (factory test reg- on paper!)

became N7SU in 1991 when exported to USA for:

W.J. Veatch in Centralia Washington.

it must be true,.... cuz my notes told me so .......... :

Apologies for the slow response - have been away down the "Smoke" for a few days.

Thanks to both of you for your replies.

The guy who took the image of the Sukhoi 389 I know very well and he missed the Su-26 altogether at the time.

The Su-26 did appear to me to be part of the Russian contingent at Farnborough and as the 'N' number reg date is later than the image date, I am more than happy to accept John's identification as CCCP-5104 and have now uploaded the image as such.
