David,
I hope you have seen or soon get to see One Six Right. It is a big seller. Brian Terwilliger produced it about General Aviation aircraft at VNY to virtually universal acclaim. All the GA alphabet groups (AOPA, EAA, etc) praised its balanced dramatic and exhilarating view and promotion of General Aviation with stunning in-flight photography. It even had one small opposing view in the video-a neighbor lady complaining about the aircraft noise.
Brian previewed his DVD and its making with extensive excerpts shown to the Aviation Museum of Santa Paula members (a full house of attendees) at SZP in 2006. I cherish my autographed copy of One Six Right. When I asked Brian what aircraft he flew, he said he had a Cessna 182 (Skylane), but his flying hours were limited by the success of promoting and selling One Six Right. There are companion DVDs-the music for it also One Six Left.
I have made a habit of ID'ing my aircraft photos in the captions here of the aircraft flown in One Six Right that have landed at SZP. A Cirrus VK-30 with IO-550 the first completed and flown and a vintage Fleet 7 biplane with Kinner radial as contrasts come to mind.
