Hi guys I am new here and hope that this has not been brought up before. I watched the Andy Griffin show that featured Aunt Bee and her monent where she flew the 183. From what I understand she does have a pilots license or did before she died. But one thing that I did notice was that airport was not in North Carolina. Last time I was in NC those hills in the background were not there.

Thanks I do feel welcome here. I also have noted on the Andy Griffith episode that at the airport you could just park anywhere close to the aircraft. It must have been made in the mid to late 1960s. I dont recall even seeing a fence in that airport.
