PeterNicholson ET00 Ken The link is the French Air Force unit operating the C-160R Transall R86 for which a profile, complete with photographs, exists. The airframe links ET00 061, 03.061 and 03-061 are invalid and should be deleted. Peter
PeterNicholson Ken: Even the link failed to display correctly in my submission - search for R86 produces the profile showing the links I mention. Peter
Ken Wang Profile R86 and 61-ZD each has two photos attached. Which one should I keep? From what I see, R86 is the c/n and 61-ZD is painted on the fuselage. Ken
PeterNicholson Ken: R86 is the military serial, 86 is the c/n and 61-ZD is the unit individual aircraft code. There are a number of entries under the 61-** code hence it woujld seem best to leave the profile as 61-ZD. Many French military aircraft profiled on the site are under the military code. Peter
Ken Wang It's confusing on French military registrations. A quick search on "Transall C-160R" (http://www.airport-data.com/search/search2.html?field=model&search=Search&code=Transall+C-160R) found 5 records in 99-AA format and a dozen in R999 format. Ken
