I was wondering if someone could tell me what some of this means..my dad owned a 1966 cessna and i found this info on line about it. What does Certification Issued, Last Action Taken, and current status mean? Thank you,

The aircraft was damaged beyond repair. Not sure how a last action taken could have happened on 1977??? Strange. Someone else may understand this better than I.

Does that mean the plane was bought the day before the accident or what? I didn't understand the last action thing, either. after the crash, we never heard another word about the plane. it is a weird situation. where could i find out who carried the insurance on the plane and where it was purchased? thanks for your help.

One method to get more details would be to contact a

Franklin, AR newspaper and ask for any records or articles in Dec 1966 they may have.

Charleston Express?

Ozark Spectator?

Perhaps even the local library there may have some articles on old newspapers.

Not sure about the purchase before the crash. Looks like the air-worthiness certificate was issued the day before. Not sure.

Someone else on this site may know much more than I about these issues.
