Identification Help Requested

I have just combined my two airplane blogs: "Plane Does" and "Loose Ends" into one blog at http://planedoes.blogspot.com/

I have been given lots of help previously, with people providing me identities and information on several of the aircraft shown on this blog. I am still looking for information on the remaining aircraft if anyone is so inclined to play detective. I have done all the internet searching I know how to do.

Some identities can be found by people who know how to find what planes were at what air shows. Others may be found by recognizing the particular warbird. And others can be found using the IDs I have for them. Lastly, there are a few birds I'm just trying to find military serials for.

KBJC is nearby.

I will ask around and see if anyone remembers that T-6.

T-6/SNJ/Harvard was shot at the Jefferson County Airport in Broomfield, CO (BJC) in July 1972.

Call sign is N3151C or N3161C - sort of hard to tell. I can't find information on either call sign. If anyone has a clue to the true and current identity of this plane, I'd appreciate it.

WOW, that would be a long shot. I was shooting from a moving car when I took that photo. That is actually the right side of the original photo. The left side is a CT-133 http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/497011L.html

I am not sure anyone was there in 1972, but we try.

It's an SNJ-5 ex AT-6D xferred from USAF to Navy.

It Then Impacted The Ground In A Shallow Dive And Slid Along For 345 Ft Before Stopping In A Plowed Field.

Thanks for that help. I think N3151G is a very viable ID, so I'm going to call it that. I just linked N91047 to a new profile for N3151G and will post it there.

Looked for that same call sign in the Warbird directory and it wasn't there.

That photo uploaded on my blog was made from a negative scanned, which gave me a cleaner shot. I have discovered that I no longer have that negative (that was scanned a couple years ago and that scanner broke - new scanner won't take 126 negatives). Cropping it out of that negative made too small a file to download to A-D, so I had to scan in the photo, which isn't as clean, and I couldn't crop that small. So now you can't read the call sign at all, but it does show the CT-133 and a DC-3 with it.
