T-44 Pegasus ID 161051 Question

I have a photo of a Navy Pegasus aircraft with the number 451 on the engine cowling. I have looked at several of Nick Dean's photo's of other Navy Pegasus aircraft. I am pretty certain that the correct ID for this aircarft would be 161051. I have no idea what the C/N would be. I don't know how to input this data in the Aircraft-data.com website since the C/N is required.

If Nick or someone could give some advice on how to do this I would be happy to post the photo. Thanks much.

Joe Baugher's site shows 161051 as Beech T-34C Mentor.

After some digging, I found this:

It says it's 160851. But on our site, Nick has a photo of 160851 showing different marking:

Also jetphotos shows wrong construction number as G-451. According to Joe Baugher's listing, 160839/160856 are Beech T-44A, with c/n from LL-1 to LL-18.

Remarks says "160851 / G/0851/451 (cn LL-13) Navy VT-31". Guess they redesignated it?

The T-44 is the Pegasus. And numbers on the plane - cowls or noses - change depending on unit assignment.

I posted it to the site, thank you. Seems the identification numbers for government aircraft gets confusing. Go figure.

US Navy aircraft have a three digit number on the nose of the aircraft. The first digit refers to the squadron number, the second and third digits refer to the aircraft number in the squadron.

This number is not related to the Bureau Number.
