Glenn.
The basic question is whether the manufacturer of this airframe is Fokker or Fairchild. I believe it to have been built by Fairchild in the US under licence from Fokker and therefore should be listed as a Fairchild UC-27.
However it was built as an F-27A and allocated the designation UC-27 whilst in service with the USAF. Thus I believe it to be logical for the designation to revert to F-27A when later operating under civilian registrations N127HP, N2709R & N1004 (not N10004).
I would therefore suggest two unlinked profiles, one military and one civil with appropriate notes appended.
How does this sound?
Malcolm.
