This was the aircraft, a DC3 that flew my sister (aet 12) and myself (aet 10) from Sagavem, Portugal to Bristol, England on 15 Jan 1944.

25 May 1943 my mother and I, then aged 5, were passengers on this aircraft from Bristol to Aeroporto de Sacavem, Lisbon, confirmed by the exit and entry stamps in my mother's passport. Would be grateful for any further information on the aircraft. Brian

Very many thanks, Malcolm. I have also found that I had misread G-ASCA which was actually G-AGCA a Boeing 314A on which I travelled 20/8/1941.

For anybody interested in flight BOAC 777 the National Archives have fairly recently released many details of the Special Operations Executive which confirm Shervington as an agent (H.100) of their Iberian operation, perhaps the speculation in Note 10 deserved more serious consideration.
