looking for 2 OH-58C

I am looking for 2 OH-58C T/N 70-15166 and 70-15494 I use to work on theses acft when I was with the 4/11th ACR in Fulda Germany I look them up on a military site from Alabama it said that they were sold. If any one know how I can get pictures or history on them let me know please

It appears that 70-15166 was destroyed and the N Number was cancelled and then either reissued or the ship is being repaired.

If it's of help,i have the following info..........

70-15166 c/n 40717....transferred to the civil market as N107CS."Written off" at Punta Gorda,Florida 8th April 2002,wreck stored for spares/repair.

Subsequently restored as of 6th February 2007 as N107CS and last heard of at Dupont-Lake,Michigan.

70-15494 c/n 41045....transferred to the civil market as N913HP,last heard of as being operated by the Police and based at Compton-Woodley airport,California.

I must be misunderstanding your question, formation is two or more acft flying togeather. So I dont understand what you a asking about chinook fly in formation with itself.

The question was for Helicopterfriend. His signature line says the Chinook is the only aircraft which can fly formation with itself. Just a bit of humor; Big twin rotors.

Well guys, I think the humorous point was raised appropriately about the CH-46 also-I have ridden them often and they have big twin rotors too. Originally designed by Vertol, Boeing bought the Vertol company and their CH/UH-46 designs.
