Gryphon Airlines DC-9 ZS-TOG

I saw this aircraft at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The other 2 Gryphon Airways DC-9s are based at Kuwait international, as I am sure this one is as well. One of them has a Kuwaiti registration, the other also has a South African registration. I can not find this registration anywhere on the internet, nor this 3rd Gryphon Airways DC-9.

Does anyone have any info on it? thanks

Can't find any refs to a Kuwaiti reg on any of these frames.

Three South African (current) & one Spanish (current).

hmm ok i could have sworn i saw something about one with a kuwaiti registration. oh well. this helps immensely. i do have a shot of the Swiftair MD-83 but had no clue it was being flown in what i assume is some sort of lease to Gryphon. Also find it interesting that a Kuwaiti company is flying with South African-registered aircraft. Does that have something to do with the Euro-embargo on flying? I know there are many Guinea-registered aircraft that arent actually based there, but registered there because of such an issue.
