A photograph of this Falcon 20 preserved in the National Air And Space Museum has today been uploaded and, when I look at the profile, to my amazement I see two profiles of which the second is woefully incorrect.
Were it to be believed, airframe c/n 227 has fifteen different identities !!!
However, Falcon 20 c/n 227 has only two correct profiles N14FE and N227CK.
Suggest action be taken to delete the second profile:
N1FE C/N should be 84. The BD-700-1A10 profile is correct
N5FE C/N should be 20. The Learjet 45 profile is correct
N6FE C/N should be 50. The Learjet 45 profile is correct
N7FE C/N should be 46. The Learjet 45 profile is correct
N8FE C/N 199 is correct for the NASM exhibit. The C/N 227 profile should be deleted
N9FE C/N 84 and C/N 216 are correct: the profile C/N 227 should be deleted. The Learjet 45 profile is correct
N10FE C/N should be 16 and should be linked with N216SA. The CL-600-2B16 is correct.
N11FE Grumman FM-2 correctly profiled - the Falcon profile to be deleted
N12FE Lancair 360 correctly profiled - the Falcon profile to be deleted
N13FE DC-9-14 correctly profiled - the Falcon profile to be deleted.
N14FE C/N 227 and correctly linked with N227CK
N15FE C/N 229 not 227 as entered and should be linked with N229CK
N16FE C/N 230 not 229 as entered. Profile of Maule MT-7-235 is correct.
N154FE Boeing 727-025F correctly profiled - the Falcon profile to be deleted.
N227CK C/N 227 and correctly linked with N14FE
Not an easy task but resolution will surely be worthwhile.
