I would just delete the BuNo entry, since I'm the one who made it. Warbirds rarely have all the correct info on the FAA data base, so that is something we will have to live with, I suppose.
The FAA model for this one is just fine. AD-4 and AD-4N are the same plane except the AD-4N was modified for night action. Since this plane became a warbird, I submit it probably had the modifications removed, reverting back to AD-4, especially since this one was later redesignated A-1D.
The engine manufacturer and model could be added to the FAA profile, and a comment as to the true c/n, I suggest. With no photos on the profile with the BuNo, it becomes excess since I doubt anyone would be looking for that plane while it was in military service.
I'm just thinking practical.
