Folks,
I have not Googled first to check possible quiz answer sources when making up these quiz questions. I use my independent considerable resources and knowledge-I got my Federal Aviation Agency flight certificate for the Private in 1966, but have been an aviation nut since the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941. I have over 300 aviation pubs in my home library including a lot of Pilot Operating Handbooks of planes I have flown, Janes', the Janes Encyclopedia, selected Joe Juptner volumes, the bi-yearly International Directory of Civil Aircraft, Pete Bowers' pubs, Wm. Green's The Aircraft of the World, John Underwood's The Vintage & Veteran Aircraft Guide, The North American Aircraft volumes 1 and 2, and many others GA-model/manufacturer specific, and also the Warbird Tech Series of single model books.
So, I have to ask? Why did I have to supply the answer to the radar radome question and why has another of my quizzes still gone unanswered?
I congratulate the winner solely based on getting the right answer, not asking him where he/she found it.
And if these quizzes are too easy, what is the point of continuing them? They do seem to be popular here-getting a lot of views. I encourage replies of constructive criticism.
