Help ID Planes and Airline Guatemala

These photos are from the late 30's or early 40's. The photos were taken in Guatemala. I think one plane is a DC-3 and the other one is a Ford Tri-Moto. I can read part of the airlines name, but can't figure it out "AVIATE??". They both are from the same airline.

Where did you come across them?

The first Airplane is a Douglas DC-2 It "may" be the same airplane that is the last of her kind flying in the world.

It is the only DC-2 that I can find, after doing quick on-line search, that was associated with Aviateca.

N414H is associated with Aviateca as well...it still flies too!

Aviateca is listed in this site as owning both of those airplanes...

One of the photos shows a DC-2. Most likely candidate is LG-ACA (later TG-ACA), which was operated by Aviateca Guatemala between 1945 and 1952. As far as I know, Aviateca only had one DC-2. This DC-2 still exists today as NC1934D, with the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field.
