Cessna T210M help

Greetings folk from Adelaide Sth Australia

Hoping that amongs all you knowledgable folk on this forum that there is some of you that can answer this query put to me

It concerns a Cessna T210M s/n 21061042 with a previous N reg of N2075S and a supposed build date of 1976 (a/c came to Australia late 2011)

I was informed that this s/n places it in the middle of the 210L block and that the 210M was not in production untill 1977

Correct; 210M did not start production until 1977, but according to Cessna data, the serials were assigned according to FISCAL year (not CALENDAR year).

I do not know what FISCAL system they used nor at what point in production the serials were assigned, with regard to place in the production line of the airframes.

(They may have tinkered with line assignments vs. dates?)

210 Serial Series

210 and T210

All with prefix with: 210

210L --> 59503 thru 61573

210M --> 61574 thru 62954

T210F thru T210J series only had prefixes: T210

Production years (Fiscal)

210L 1972 > 1976

210M 1977 > 1978

T210L 1972 > 1976

T210M 1977 > 1978

T210L was produced from 1972 s/n 21059503 to 1976 s/n 21061573

1976 production s/n 21061040 to s/n 21061573.

T210M was produced in 1977 and 1978 years.

1977 are from s/n 21061574 to 21062273

1978 are from s/n 21062274 to 21062954
