How about uploading a photo? None on this site of N26493. I had some time in Beech SNBs (a Beech 18 USN variant) many years ago and have good memories of those flights.

HI Dough, Bob here. Well as soon as it gets out of the paint shop I will do a before and after thing. It just got to Ed's Aircraft Refinishing At 1N1. In Shirley New York. At which time the job he does will be documented. A must see to believe. This shop goes all out as a standard practice. My logbook starts in the late 60's. Been fixing them, flying them, buying and selling them, ever since. Owned, and operated two successful FBO's and When it come's to this shop. I'm impressed. That's why I will be documenting it. By the way I know where one of those SNB's (snub's) is sitting waiting for a group of guys to take her away. Real cheap from what I understand. Still original Navy Surplus configuration. Thanks Bob. I do get some occasional stick time with friends in Nanchang China CJ-6A and Van's RVs, doing rolls, etc. Mainly photography, though. I have some Beech 18 variant warbird photos here under Warbirds-Std. class. Looking forward to your photos of the SNB.
