Some people have the Gee Bee Z N77V showing at the Museum of Flight in Seattle Washington. True the tail number shows N77V, but it is actually N77VV that is out there. Any Gee Bee Zs showing N77V located at BFI need to be changed to N77VV
The original N77V doesn't exist anymore, however Jeff Eicher (a guy I know personally) built a replica Gee Bee Z and sold it to Kermit Weeks and was able to legally take the tail number N77V. This plane is located at Fantasy of Flight airport code FA08 and it really hasn't been flown anywhere else - so N77V up until now should only be the one seen at FA08.
