CH-54B Tarhe

On static display at Dulles Intn'l Airport in June 1972 at Transpo' 72 were two Tarhe helicopters.

One serialled 70-18490 in profiled with a photograph on the database with mission pod 18580 and was operated by the Alabama Army National Guard.

I attach a photograph of the other for which I am still seeking an identity - the boom appears to show 18590 as shown in the smaller scratched image, but I cannot match this with any Army serial range.

Can any-one help with this query please?

Interesting, that there is a CH-54 Universal POD w/serial 68-18590

Skycrane Universal Pods -Production 1968 (only?)

68-18578 thru 68-18599 (22 count)

from Andy McGregor's (et.al.) Book (apr 1992 - tahs)

Also saw a show report listing 69-18480 CH-54B at Transpo'72, but don't

know how valid, that may be.
