I want to add a new 2013 aircraft profile to the database, but N843PS keeps coming up. I find no workaround. Help!

I have a print of the FAA valid assigned registration for N843P, but cannot enter it on A-D.

Doug, take a look at the profile and tell me what needs to be added or corrected

Down at the bottom of the opening page, 2nd column from the left "AIRCRAFT", 3rd row down "ADD NEW AIRCRAFT", click on that section and it will allow you to build the profile you want.

Thank you both-not sure who did what here, but that is OK.

I have a photo to add to the Profile, BUT, the aircraft is an Arion Aircraft LLC LIGHTNING kit built Experimental. I would add that after Peternel, the builder in the Mfg. name line, but leave it to Admin-Walt? for that, as I cannot.

Whilst we all of course welcome help and support for the site and its members, such help should take account of one of our primary objectives which is to correctly and more clearly identify the aircraft in the database.

We have a total of 24 identical aircraft listed as

Arion Lightning LS-1

Why would we wish to list N843P differently?

Quite by chance, I found your image of N843P in "Photos without Profile" and therefore not viewable.

Clearly the profile had been deleted!

I assume that you wish to keep the image in the database and have now re-instated the profile.

How very odd!!!

Thank you for your input.

I did not delete the photo nor anything else re N843P. I am disturbed because when entering N843P under Search Aircraft on the A-D Home page it brought up ONLY N843PS, a deregistered Piper, not the desired N843P Arion Aircraft LLC profile. Close, but no cigar! However, the photo of N843P of mine yesterday was still in my Aircraft Photos section of my member work page-BUT the N number was in BLACK, not Blue and not clickable to bring up a Profile Page. And my photo count has not been reduced, so apparently that photo still exists, as you found it elsewhere.

Further, I am NOT given an option to edit the profile for N843P if it still exists somewhere, as unfortunately, I misspelled Arion, and want to correct that.

I can and have entered a new Article, so that still works for me.

This site is messed up, and I am refraining from entering any more photos until it is fixed.

I just read Ken's Forum entry re this site being hacked. I re-registered as suggested with new password, and now find the N843P Profile page restored with my photo and is OK.

Hope nothing else is wrong with this fine site!

I doubt that the deletion of the profile in question was in any way related to the hacking of the site but we will leave it there!

Any image showing the registration in black has no related profile. Thus I recreated the profile once more to once more provide a home for your image.

Hopefully the site is now back on track.
