Is it possible to contact the owner of Chipmunk T10 G-BFAW? I flew in it when it was WP848 as an ATC cadet at RAF Waterbeach (Javelin FAW9s) in August 1961. The pilot was John Rosenbury USAF, a fighter pilot on secondment to the RAF and sharing the job on that day with Ray Blyth, then in RAFVR and flying WK624. John said to me "son, do you ever get airsick"? I answered "no sir". "Would you like to do aerobatics"? " Yes please sir"! I think we spent more time upside down than the right way up, an indelible experience for a cadet who was 15 in that month.
I would love to see the plane again, even more to get a flight in it, for which I would happily pay. I am a lapsed Group "A" PPL holder.
