Odd change in Member Section

This morning I logged into the site and I noticed that the first two photos in my member page that are listed as the latest upload were uploaded years ago....but they are listed as being uploaded last week..... hmmm

What's going on ??

Looks like they have been moved from the Airport section to the Aircraft section

same thing happened to me. I was putting my "unknowns" from years ago under airport section and they are now coming back to haunt me once in a while

In the member section, click on the link Message Board and you will see the last message from Ken, In the message it says "Occasionally we will move photos between airport and aircraft section".

By moving aircraft photos in the airport secton to "UNKNOWN" we have had a lot of success with other members helping to ID the aircraft so they can be put into the correct profiles.

I have noted a similar, but somewhat different problem than Zane's, where four of my Airport photos taken at SZP and so uploaded by me in May of 2007 have been redated, and re-uploaded 2015-03-09, but not by me. These were never Unknowns, but were Airport photos taken on an Airport Museum of Santa Paula Open House date all along and remain so, with combined views of 5,649 so they were certainly appreciated and popular.

Please redate those four Photo Filenames 037093-037096 to a May 2007 true date of original uploading, probably done on 2007-05-07.

It really looks silly (impossible?) to have so many combined views of these photos labeled with March 2015 upload dates. Still unclear, here.

The four images that you are refering to are the P-51 Mustang Pedal Plane, these were oringinaly in the aircraft section in a Mustang profile.

Looking in the Admin forum it appears that Walt moved them into the airport section on 9th March 2015.

When an image is moved between the aircraft and airport sections, the upload date changes to the date of the move.

No, you are mistaken-those four photos were originally uploaded by me in the Airport section in 2007 under my subheading of SZP. Please restore the original uploading date to those four photos. Someone subsequently apparently could not distinguish between a child's pedal plane and a real P-51 Mustang? There are a number of these pedal planes at SZP, even the Aviation Museum of Santa Paula has one, a biplane, also photographed.

No, YOU are the one that is mistaken, the four images were in a P-51 profile in the aircraft section, they were rejected with the reason " not a real aircraft"

Walt then moved the photos to the airport section, as I have already said, When an image is moved between the aircraft and airport sections, the upload date changes to the date of the move. There is now way to change the date back to the original upload date.
