For those looking for UK aircraft data i suggest this site known as the GINFO Data base this site is the CAA aircraft register which has information on all UK registered aircraft including aircraft manufacturer and model, date built, serial numbers, engine manufacturer/type, previous owners etc. Its great for new aircraft entries for the site 8)

On this site the UK aircraft registry are added automatically. Once a UK number is entered, the program check if it exist in our database, if not, it will query CAA site as mentioned in post above to get necesary information and add it into our database.

another good site for information is http://www.airframes.org/

it is useful for finding details that are not on GINFO and the FAA Registry

I also use http://www.ch-aviation.ch/ for confirming owner/operator details, C/N numbers and previous ID's

Thanks for the links, i've just started using airframes and will probable need ch-aviation if i get any airliner photos most of the stuff i'm interested in is GA at the moment.
