N2YC. In 1986 - 1987 I flew N2YC for a Part 135 corporation named Aviation Specialist Inc. based in Battle Creek, Mi. I was domiciled in Evansville, In. I would show at 6 am. to meet the Colorcraft van with my cargo of 1000 lbs. of processed prints, pictures. Colorcraft was a large developer of film for K-Mart, Super D, Rexall, and anywhere else you could drop off your camera film. We had a contract flying from Evansville to Battle Creek, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Nashville. When I got to my destination city, 10 Nissan Sentras would meet me to take their prints for store delivery and bring me back cartridges to go back to Evansville. 2YC performed most excellent during the 600 hours I flew here. I liked the fact that 2YC had both electric / alcohol windshield and props. Many times I would clock a 300+ ground speed. I flew 2YC at FL 280 on longer trips. When I flew her she was white with red and green. Her sistership crashed and killed the owner of the company and all on board.....
