Hi All,

It's been a long time since my last post here. Sorry for not being able to attend the site.

Current server hosting airport-data.com is almost filled up. I have ordered a new one and will move the site over soon. During the transition the site might come up and down, and you may experience some error because many software will be upgraded at the same time. Please do not upload any photo until further notice. I will post progress here.

I also plan to move the site to https for better security. This will be done after the server move.

Cheers,

Ken

Site has been transferred to new server.

Please browse and upload just like you usually do, and report any bug here.

Cheers,

Server error when logging in to member site.

Michael,

I can enter member area after log in through forums. Where did you log in from?

BTW Photo view issue is fixed.

Ken

When logging into the member section, there's an error when you try and click on Aircraft Photos (of the ones you have uploaded).

Michael

Ken, have entered through Forums, go to Member Section and attempt to look at my aircraft and I get a server error. Going through Photographer Search and clicking on my name, I can get my pictures and look at them.

Photos can now be uploaded, but you can't view them through the Member Section.

Michael

View uploaded aircraft photo in member section is back to normal now. Turns out it is a very old typo, but never caused any issue on old server.

Hello Ken,

Everything thing seems, almost back to normal, with the new server.. THANKS

Did notice a layout display issue, on aircraft profiles.

Most noticeable on profiles with, long aircraft type names and on some profiles with, letter Q, P in the registration.

Profile registration or serial ID, font seems too large, as it bleed over/into the other display fields..

Some examples, below, in the attached screen captures.

Fixed.

It seems to me the site is back to normal now. If anyone find any problem, please continue to post here.

Hi Ken,

Can the updates to the Airports database posted in the Airports forum be added to the site to bring it up to date?

Ken,

The list of aircraft for a specified model by type won't open from

Recent aircraft Photos

and

Search for Aircraft by model in profiles

for

737-8LJ

757-330

737-8AS

767-2EY

737-8H4

etc

Also Vans, Grumman and others.

Malcolm.

There's a long backlog. I'll study it first.

RSS feeds stopped working after the server migration. RSS feed should have full valid paths in the
and
fields at a minimum.

Correctness of the RSS feed information can be checked here at this URL https://validator.w3.org/feed/

here's a snippet of the RSS output that shows partial paths instead of full paths in the URL's.

Fixed! Thank you.

I'm old school. my.yahoo.com is my home page, and I've had the RSS feeds shown their for years.

a year later

Mr Clarke, if you would look at the original post by the Site Admin, it would seem that Turbos has copied the information and re-posted it. I don't believe the Site Admin would give permission for anyone to change his program.

Just a comment for you.

Many thanks Canonman, clearly I should have been more suspicious of the individuals claims.

I have now deleted deliberately misleading posts and will continue to do so!
