A Grumman Gulfstream a long way away. This is the RAZW image already taken with a full telephoto.

WTL picture attempted above. Bill I put the link up above to compare to yours to see what went wrong (minus the IMG tags)
Not sure what happened, but in the above, I don't see any difference, unless someone else can see both Bill's picture and mine? Al I see in Bill's is the link?
This second picture is what Bill was going to compare after cropping only, and nice clean picture, no fences or other wasted areas as you see posted constantly on this site.
I see nothing wrong with editing or "Photoshopping" to clean up an image and make it presentable. All photographers should strive to make their shots count...but sometimes the environment and obstacles don't cooperate.
Take this example.
I wanted a shot of this Fed-ex 727. Late in the day, facing the sun, peeking over a fence, etc.
So I climbed one obstacle to shoot over another and didn't worry about the sun...very much.
Colors were off, light is bad and shadows were mean...but it's not going in a magazine. It's simply data.
I left the fence loop over the container to remind me of the original.
The original.
