  • Photography at "Monte Real" Airbase Portugal

Does anyone have Experience/Information about Photography around "Monte Real" Airbase Portugal.

Next years Tiger Meet is at this base and I hope to spend a few days around the base during the Tiger Meet

From looking at Google Earth and checking info. on "Scramble" it does not look too good for Photography. Especially the southern end with lots of woods/trees etc.

My main hope is that there will be on-base Photo days as at the recent Tiger Meet at Cambrai.

Any info/feedback will be most appreciated.

I believe that there must be some misunderstanding or Scramble has more data not yet available.

Both at Força Aeria Portuguesa and at Tiger Meet, it is scheduled for Beja.

For my part I would prefer it to be in Monte Real, since depending on the winds it is better for spotting, than Beja

As for visits, everyone who was registered for this year, since it was a postponement by Covi19, will be registered for 2021.
