Ken I've got a goofy one for you that started because of a mess-up I made. the Me.109 on display at the Air Force Museum was listed on their site as 61-0824. Not thinking about that number being an A.F. serial from the 1961 series, I posted the plane with a profile about the Me.109. However, up came a photo of the T-38 that owns that number, a shot taken by Timothy Aanerud. So I outsmarted myself and renumbered the Me. 109 as 61-08240 - I figured adding the zero would let me do a new profile. A year ago I put a note to you that there was a problem and that the profile should be deleted for 61-0824 so it could be re-entered with the proper aircraft type information. Well that profile is still there with my comment at the bottom. Now the real problem is that I discovered that the A.F. Museum site had a typo error and the Me.109 is really 610824 without the dash. So I edited the photos to that number so I could do a profile but they won't regenerate the copyright tag and they still come up with the old number (on my gallery page they show the new, correct number). To add insult to injury, I learned that the Me.109 I shot there in 1986 is NOT the same aircraft and is in fact an HA-1112M-1L, so I edited the serial for that one as C.4K 64 which, again, shows up correctly in the gallery, but the photo won't regenerate a tag nor will it leave the profile of the 61-08240 false number.

I'd like to do new profiles for both aircraft, but since nothing seems to be working right in that realm, I don't want to make things worse!

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for the detailed bug description.

First of all, I have removed 61-0824 profile so a new one can be created for the T-38.

With the aircraft data structure change, now photos are linked to aircraft record instead of just the tail number, when a record could be found. So, your photos of 61-08240 was linked to an aircraft, even you change the tail number of it, the aircraft record ID will leave intact.

I need to fix the program so when tail number of a photo is changed, a new aircraft ID be assigned to the photo at same time.

61-08240 has been changed to 610824, both photos are also fixed on copyright tag.

Let me know if anything else can be done.

Ken
