I don't know much about the world of aviation, but I'm trying to learn a bit. Full disclosure, I'm a local reporter, and I'm trying to hone my skills when I can to be useful. (Normally I cover education!)
We sadly had a crash that killed one yesterday here. I was trying to find out more about the history of the plane just to learn more about it.
I noticed there are two photos from this website where I felt I was in over my head about what they meant. One said "bad gear" but I don't know enough to know what about the photo indicated anything was awry:

Both photos look like they were from long ago, so maybe it's nothing, but I figured I'd at least learn about the plane and some history along the way!
