Good day all

Is there anybody having a US aircraft register where one could find the details serial-number and its fate) of this Extra N540CM.

What i found out it was only registered a short time between 1989 and 1991.

It was flown by Clint Mc Henry during the WAC 1990 at LSGY.

Thank you

John

I've checked ALL my notes, several paper USCAR-registers that I have, and the FAA USCAR microfiche for 1989, 1990, & 1993. I do not have fiche for 1988, nor 1987.

Can't find any Extra 300 with that registration to tie-up to a serial number.

Clint did have an Extra 230 registered as N230X in Pompano,FL.

BTW N540CM looks like a two seater model 300.

I'll keep looking. So far no luck.

see attache pix.

Thank you John.

It is indeed an Extra 300. Your second photo might have been taken during WAC 1990 at LSGY(trees in the background, french text at the left edge)

Kind regards

I have checked independent databases and have:

N540CM c/n 014 from May 1990 - January 1991 then went to N300MT and then written off in March 1992

Thank you, Sir.

The FAA-register states for N300MT to be a "Helicycle" ser-nr 014 manufactured by Kek David, registered from 1990-10-25 until 1992-08-20. It is in this database.

The NTSB-report clearly mentions an Extra 300.

Something starnge.

Thank you and

kind regards
