Many thanks for the information,
I've no contact details for Mr Williams so the gentleman would have to make contact through this forum if he wishes to obtain - Log Book 'Number 3' & other pieces of documentation that includes the CAA Certificate of Registration (dated 13 NOV 92) & the CAA Maintenance Release (dated 14 MAY 92). From my recollection KAW last flew in the 1990's when it was in my father's ownership. The documents I refer to may be a significant addition to the history & provenance of KAW. It's up to Mr Williams whether he wants this stuff or not but, I'm not going to keep it forever.
For added interest, I also have TWO Gypsy Major engines available for sale - of the types I believe the Auster uses. One of which has logbook & engineering certificate from its last rebuild.
We also have a garage full of assorted Tiger Moth parts. I doubt any of it is still redeemable to be airworthy again but, would make great hanger wall art. OR, if someone wishing to build or maintain a STATIC display for public viewing these may well be very useful.
It would be a shame if all this stuff were to end up as landfill or sent to scrappers.
Kind regards.
