Higher I have images of aircraft with a registration that is re-allocated to a newer aircraft e.g C-FBYP was a Cessne c170 - how can I get the correct type displayed
Type info for Aircraft with regist;n now on a newer aircraft
Simply click on "Add another C-FBYP" at left side of page, and follow instructions.
Adding aircraft is a 2 steps work. First you add or find an airframe, then attach a registry number to the airframe. In first step, after you type in Manufacturer and Model info, a list of existing airframes with same model will show up at right side. Go through the list first to see if the airframe already exist in database before continue inputing airframe info, to avoid duplicated airframe records.

Hiya Ken
Many thanks - Will give it a go in due course
This thread answers a post I placed on the Photography forum. I have a question. On the aircraft data upload form, construction number is a mandatory field. I have some old (like 1960's) photos of airlines no longer in existance, and aircraft most likely now scrapped. What do I enter for construction number?
If unknown I enter 0000 for the C/N
Hi red750,
Thanks for bring up the question. To be honest, I don't know the answer. An airframe always come with a c/n, though I understand sometime you can't find it. I dont think making c/n field optional is a good idea. I guess Ztex's suggestion on 0000 is feasible for now. The downside is this could cause duplicated airframe/aircraft record (with different c/n).
Any other suggestion?
Ken
