This aircraft was owned by my grandfather and later my father from the lake 60's until a few years ago. It was a member of the family in a way. Many trips around the country and to mexico were enjoyed by all of us. "Victor" as she was known is missed and we we she has many hours of clear, no wind days.

It would be great to see some family photos of Victor!

Are you the current owner?

I'll dig some out, if I can find them. There are quite a few if I can find them. The earliest I have was taken before all the mods. It still had 2 piece windshield, no 3rd window, and the center section had not been done, and it still had the 185 in it. If Victor could talk... Those trips to Mexico in the 60's were crazy from what I hear.

She got her revenge on my Grandfather in the end. She was to be the airplaine that "went west" at his graveside funeral. My father and I went to start her the day before and a valve was stuck. We worked all day to no avail. Two days later we went back and she was fine. She can be that way.

No I'm not the owner, I would just be interested to see what the airplane and family would look like!
