N7112G
Hello. My name is Bob Deaton from Belmont, NC. My dad was the first owner of Cessna N7112G. We were at Gastonia Airport, NC the day it was delivered from the final assembly plant. Low overcast day, we really didn't expect it to be delivered, but here it came under the low clouds, WITH NO RADIOS IN IT! The pilot did a great job getting it to us. Seemed to be no big deal to him. I was a student pilot and Dad was a privite pilot in 1970. N7112G flew like a dream. Dad and I had been flying Cessna l50s, Cessna l40 tailgragger, Cherokee l40, and a Super Cub. Dad kept the Skyhawk 72G until the fuel crisis of 1972, had to sell it. We sure loved that airplane! Picture may follow shortly. Best wishes to pilots of N7112G!
