Hi there,

I'm a newbie here so please bear with me if I am not up to speed. Basically I am looking for any information on the above kite, which is a piper Pa22 colt. I flew her out of Blackbushe on a regular basis back in the early seventies. I did notice a photo of her on this site and the number of seats was listed as unknown. Well I can confirm that she was officially a 2 seater but two small adults could easily sit on tool boxes in the back. We regularly used to do that. Any info would be gratefully received especially her present whereabouts.

It's only the nostalgia bit kicking in but she was my first aircraft and I learbed to fly in her. so it would be nice to know.

Existing photographs of this aircraft are those in recent years and I have added one taken in the Summer of 1976, which is perhaps nearer the time you were flying out of Blackbushe.
