The builder of the Sadler VAMPIRE has put the prototype VAMPIRE and various parts for more aircraft including one Jabiru 3300 engine for sale as a package.
The prototype VAMPIRE won the Grand Champion Design Award at Oshkosh in 1982. Bearing a resemblance to the British de Havilland Vampire with pusher engine and twin booms, the prototype was a single place aircraft. The present VAMPIRE is a two-place aircraft with side by side seating in a 50 inch-wide cockpit with folding wings, pusher engine, Experimental class. The design could qualify as a Special-LSA or Experimental-LSA class aircraft.
