This aircraft is now N9903Z, and I have posted my photos there even the plane was N4999E at the time. There are three profiles for N4999E, one of them links to 52-10905. When I posted these shots N4999E was no longer registered and it hadn't as yet been assigned a new number so I posted it under the Air Force serial number (but I mistakenly also used that for the c/n) Since this aircraft now has a registration, 52-10905 can be deleted. Then the N4999E profile linking to it can be deleted (I linked to that when old registrations were added to the data base). Then one of the other two profiles can be edited to match the info for N9903Z and delete the other one.

How's that for cleaning out three profiles!

Ideally all 3 aircraft should linked to each other, as they are same airframe carrying different registry over time.

There's a problem here: Our site distinguish an airframe by manufacturer/model and c/n. However, on FAA site, N9903Z and N4999E has different model, N9903Z is AF-853 and N4999E is AF835.

Our weekly import script will screw up every week no matter how to fix it, by creating different profiles for both aircraft.

This is a tough one. Need to think about it.

This is very interesting. Warbird registry has N4999E as AF853. But further checking into the military serial, I found it is indeed AF835, so W.R. has an error. SO, I guess that means N4999E should be just linked to 52-10905. Now I don't know what happened to it!!!

so the c/n on 52-10905 should be AF835, and then linked with N4999E, and de-link N9903Z

I just moved my photos to the top profile for N4999E. The bottom one should be dropped and the top one linked to 52-10905 with 52-10905 c/n corrected
