Actually, there is a 2nd profile for N5596V as a P-38, however I found there will be a discrepancy due to c/n. N5596V was 44-26981, c/n 7985. It crashed in 1972 and was rebuilt in the 1980s using parts from 44-26996, which the profile for N5596V shows as c/n. It was in 1992 when my father photographed it still in that call sign. It was later re-registered as N7723C.
