Ken,

The photos in my last two (newest) articles are not consistently coming up with the articles. Clicking on the blank photo brings up a Msg cannot find server. Still server problems? Or has the USAF censored my photos of N117A Night Hawks? Or the Czech Republic not like my Lomcevak? LOL

Hi Doug,

That was not related to server went down.

When you add a picture into your article, you used something like "../images/aircrafts/small/074/074051.jpg". It looks right in article editor in member section, but won't show up when you view the article from the front end.

It should be "/images/aircrafts/small/074/074051.jpg". URLs or Images used in article should always start with a /.

Not sure I follow you, Ken. Both articles' pictures were coming up fine from time of the original writing/uploading, and a check just now shows they are coming up normally with clicking on respective article titles in the Article Section. I have made no changes. Last night neither would show the articles' photos-just a blank with small x in square in upper left corner. Clicking on that or on the white blank brought up the Msg cannot find server. I think it just a temporary glitch-it seems OK now. I haven't varied my picture uploading technique in my articles. And last night the other articles of mine showed the respective photos as the article was selected.

I fixed the links before post reply. I will take a look at article editor later, to make sure that whenever a link is okay in the editor, it will be okay to the public.

Ken,

Still have a problem-on 16 June no pictures come up with the Night Hawk F117A Article- click on little square or blank frame gives MSG cannot find server. It is not working to show pictures automatically with the article.

I found the reason. It turned out to be the new editor software I upgraded recently. The new version convert your URL of images and links automatically. You must have worked on the article since my last fix. Once you save it, the image and link URL in the article were changed back.

I have fixed the software and your article.

Thanks Ken. I did find a stray period missing and edited, that must have been the reason.
