There are two profiles for this aircraft for a UH-1H. The problem seems to be that the FAA-generated profile has the military s/n for the c/n, while the bottom profile uses the correct c/n.

The bottom profile should be deleted and the top profile linked to G-UHIH and 72-21509

Glenn.

This is the same problem as I have detailed previously - we can't revise the FAA listing.

What are your views please?

Malcolm.

Here's another one, where in order to facilitate linking so everyone can find the aircraft as it moves, the number used by the FAA should take prominence and perhaps a note made about the c/n.

I think linking IDs is really important to help those who research (which is why I found A-D) the locations of planes, etc.

Let's see if the others have a view.

I certainly agree with you about having a connection but at times the "hard" linkage does sometimes prevent the showing accepted of differences. It is not unusual for a de-registered military plane having the model designation reverted to the civil equivalent when subsequently flown by an airline.

I would prefer to have an "Also registered as" field and thus avoid this problem.

Malcolm.

Perhaps if the "also Registered as" field didn't need to have exact match it would be better. That way a military aircraft wouldn't have to have all fields match the civil field to properly link.
