I learned there is a civil registry for this L-2. Can the c/n from the FAA profile be added to 42-35872 and the two profiles linked?
Thanks

Glenn.
I have added the cn as you requested but have not yet linked the two.
Linkage results in the make, model and cn being identical.
In this case, there is a difference in model description and also the engine specs are at variance. Were I to link them, I would have to retain the FAA description.
The other choice would be to add cross reference notes to both without linkage.
This could be preferable where the FAA listing may not be in compliance with hisorical data, i.e. wrong!
Comments?

Well, I don't know how important it is to have everything 100% military. For example, the types are different because one is the company type and the other is the military designation given to it. If the link makes the type into the civil nomenclature, I don't think that will cause too much confusion, especially for those who know this information. The engine specs have the same issue - one is the manufacturer's type while the other is the designation the military gives it to fit in their series.
However, there may be purists who won't like the idea of changing things just to match the civil nomenclature, so a cross-reference note might not be a bad idea. I did notice on the military profile there is no engine type- should be reciprocating.
