  • Another profile mess to clean

1235 and 235 are the same aircraft, which went by these two designations while in service. These two should be linked but adding the name "Dragonfly" to 235 - everything else looks the same.

N4927E is the FAA registration carried for a while but linking this caused some extra profiles to be generated. Since the FAA link is a common problem, we can delink that and then just make a comment on the military profiles.

Glenn.

I have de-linked the profiles.

But I note that all 5 images in the two profiles, 235 & 1235, were taken at the same location and within a common period of time. Surely then all 5 images should appear in the same profile, unless the the exhibit was at some time repainted to a different identity, which appears not to be the case.

The museum lists the aircraft as

HO3S-1G Aircraft, Bureau Number 235.

joebaugher lists 1235 as a re-serial.

I suggest that the images are all contained in the 235 profile. Then either retain the 1235 profile with linkage to 235, or delete and add a relevant note to the 235 profile.

Malcolm.

Yeah, this came about because I tend to use latest designations when I ID my planes, so I profiled this as 1235. It was later when Daniel Compton and I discussed this bird that we learned we had each identified it differently, so I linked them - badly, obviously. Since two out of three of us did it as 235, I'll join the club and move mine

Which would work easiest - link 1235 to 235 or just delete the link and put a note on the profile for 235? I'd go with the easiest way.
