some suggestions

Hello everybody,

I haven´t been through all the topics, so maybe some answers to my suggestions have already been made!

First:

It would be helpful, to exchange a specific picture with another one, better developed or better photographed one, without uploading and creating a new entry and thereafter deleting the previous "active" picture / entrie ?

I am using a slide scanner to digitalize most of my "Kodachromes" and after some time of doing this, I get much better results today than those from the beginning.

Second:

How about making it possible to add a comment to a picture of interest? The fotographer could be informed with a message, if a question has been posted and a third reader could participate any additional information!

An interesting posting.

On your first point this can already be accommodated. I have inadvertently uploaded the same image twice and of course deleted the duplicate later.

There is no reason why you shouldn't upload an improved image and request deletion of the original one.

This is a feature on other websites but usually the older image is automatically replaced by the newer one. My early scanned uploads to Airliners were quite poor but as my scanning and process abilities improved, I replaced many.

On your second point, the facility already exists to contact individual members. Otherwise discussions of a wider interest can take place through the forums.
