In the "Oh, it would be nice" category.

When viewing an aircraft or airport photo and more than one photo exists of the current subject. Oh, it would be nice if there was a next and previous button near the current image that linked to the next and previous image of the subject.

Or just click on the photo and it takes you to the next one? ... Facebook sure has spoiled us huh?

I need a "like" button for that statement!

LOL

Zane,

You're right about facebook being my source of inspiration.

Sure I can do that. Though currently clicking on the photo is already in use to toggles between small and large size of the photo.

Stay tuned.

Ken

How about a "Like" button for the photo. There are some really superb photos on here that could use some recognition. Just a thought. Either way I love the site.

Links to social media have been on the site for a while now. Look at the top title area and you'll find them. The social media links will point to a specific photo if you're on a photo web page.

Hi all,

The requested Prev/Next button has been added. Feedbacks are always welcome.

Thanks Timothy for the idea.

There's a facebook like button on each photo page, just below the phot ID. But I guess what Nick meant is a "Like" button of our own so we can make some great photos stand out?

Ken

I just noticed this!

Thanks Ken!

(and Thanks guys for the ideas! )

I would like to ask for one tweak to the next/previous feature. Hopefully it is not too hard to implement.

If you view aircraft photos at an airport http://www.airport-data.com/airport/OSH/aircraft-photos;1.html and then select an aircraft photo,

Could the links for next/previous point to the next photo taken at that airport instead of the next photo of that aircraft?

This is a great idea, and it's feasible, but it requires to be careful so not to mix up with "aircraft photos view". I will have a look ASAP.

Ken

The server has to track which way you navigated to the photo. As a first step it might be easier to have a separate pair of next/previous buttons.

One pair for aircraft and one pair for the airport.

Precisely.
