The behinds: 4 expirenced members of the club made a sightseeing flight cross country. They decided to make a greeting low-level overflight over a friend's house. In the descent section , the PIC changed the central valve switch for the tanks to the position " both" or "all", engaged the fuell pumps and sunk. on the climb section a few seconds later and only some hundred feet high, the engine stoped aprubtly. The reason: the fuel valve was neither set to the position both or all but to the opposite position "closed". Simply they cut off fuel line without regarding.
It was too late to recognise this error and establish conditions.
What I learned from this tragic accident: never forgive the assurance of life in a Single Engine : the altitude !!!
